European Money Week

European Money Week

The Liechtenstein Bankers Association and its member banks, together with the Hand in Hand Establishment counselling service, are participating in European Money Week and helping children and young people improve their approach to money.

Studies show: Every fifth young person between the ages of 12 and 18 is in debt. Among young adults between the ages of 18 and 24, the ratio rises to one in three. To counter the indebtedness of young people (and adults), early prevention is of the utmost importance. Conveying basic financial knowledge to young people promotes a responsible approach to money and helps avoid debt.
