Villa Wirbelwind
The Liechtenstein banks are among the most progressive employers in the region. The compatibility of family and career is of the utmost importance. For this reason, the banks opened the Villa Wirbelwind day care centre in September 2017 after a 15-month planning and implementation phase.
It is a joint initiative of the municipality of Vaduz and the Bankers Association. The employer pays about half of the costs per child attending day care. The day care centre is designed for three groups of 10 to 12 children each.
With this step, the banks are making a clear commitment to the business location. Villa Wirbelwind makes Liechtenstein an even more attractive workplace for employees from all over the world. At the same time, the banks are also assuming social responsibility – in line with their long-standing sustainable business strategy.
QualiKita – because the first years are crucial for children! Villa Wirbelwind was awarded the QualiKita quality label in February 2021. Certified day care centres focus on the development of the child, and they themselves develop continuously as an organisation and team.
