Education and Training
Our employees and their knowledge are the foundation of our banks’ business success. Today’s labour market is characterised by constant change. Demographic, technological, and economic developments will be a major challenge for basic and continuing training.
It will be crucial for Liechtenstein banks to provide their own young talent with training on an ongoing basis. Service quality and expertise in private banking are becoming increasingly important, especially in the advisory business. This puts a premium on basic and continuing training as well as a high level of employee quality.
Dual vocational training has a long tradition at Liechtenstein banks. The first official apprenticeship contract was issued on 1 August 1924. We rely on young talent, because they are the qualified specialists and managers of tomorrow. At any given time, about 80 young women and men are in basic training at banks in Liechtenstein.
Ongoing training is essential for keeping up with the latest developments. The Liechtenstein banks are aware of this responsibility towards their employees and offer them extensive continuing training opportunities. Lifelong learning is a basic prerequisite for sustainable success and secures our future.
On these pages, you will find out more about our basic training and the exciting opportunities for continuing training in the banking sector.
