LGT Bank secures title of best foreign bank
LGT Bank picked up two awards following its first participation in the Ninth Annual Wealth Briefing Swiss Awards from the international finance magazine “Wealth Briefing”. According to a press release, LGT was named as the best bank in the area of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investments with its first-class sustainability offering. In addition, LGT emerged victorious as the “Best Foreign Private Bank in Switzerland” against numerous competitors.
At the Swiss Awards 2022, the magazine honored the best wealth managers and financial service providers in Switzerland. The 11-strong jury saw a “broad range and proven expertise in sustainable investing” as the keys to success in the ESG category, the press release explains. LGT Bank’s success here can also be attributed to its commitment to reducing net emissions to zero by 2030. In the press release, Heinrich Henckel, CEO of LGT Bank, emphasizes the bank’s experience in the field of sustainability that extends back more than 15 years. Thanks to LGT’s efforts in sustainable investments, the bank is able to “transparently show customers how sustainable their investments are”. This has resulted in attractive investments in companies “that solve ecological or social challenges”, according to the CEO of the Vaduz-based private bank.
The title of best foreign private bank pays tribute to LGT’s “strong presence in Switzerland, comprehensive customer offering and impressive combination of wealth and investment management services”, the press release states. No other financial services company can boast such a unique market position and opportunity to invest with the Princely Family of Liechtenstein.
