LGT moves to further expand presence in Germany
LGT’s growth story in Germany continues. After opening a first office in Hamburg back in the fall of 2022, and additional offices in Düsseldorf and Cologne at the start of January 2024, LGT is now represented with a location in Frankfurt am Main.
Frankfurt is described as one of Europe’s leading financial centers. This goes not only for the financial sector as a whole, but specifically also for «high-net-worth and discerning private banking clients», as Florian Dürselen, Member of the Executive Board of LGT Bank, explains in a press release. «We see strong potential for LGT in this location, and are therefore delighted to be opening an office here together with the new team», he adds.
According to Andreas Loretz, Market Head Germany and Austria at LGT Bank, the company is delighted with the progress made in establishing and expanding its locations in Germany. «Over the past one and a half years, we have been able to recruit experienced relationship managers and expand our client base in Hamburg», he explains, adding that: «I have no doubt that private banking clients in the Rhine-Main region will also appreciate our services and our expertise».
Alongside its existing locations, the Liechtenstein-based bank will now turn its attention to expanding its German headquarters, which are situated in Munich. In this way, the bank hopes to better serve the south of Germany. ce/mm
