LGT recognized for philanthropy and alternative investments
LGT has been named the Best Private Bank for Alternatives for the fifth time, and the Best Private Bank in Europe for Philanthropy Services for the second year running. LGT’s achievements in the philanthropy field also impressed judges in the Global Wealth Awards 2023 presented by Private Banker International, and financial magazine Global Finance named LGT the best private bank in Liechtenstein.
According to a press release, the awards were presented to the Liechtenstein private bank at the Global Private Banking Awards organized by the Financial Times publications Professional Wealth Management (PWM) and The Banker.
The jury comprised 15 industry experts from Europe, Asia and North America. The press release states that the awards are a testament to the company’s «family-led, distinctive culture» and «methodical approach to sustainability.» «LGT has developed into a global company with a growing presence in Asia, while at the same time maintaining a highly accessible structure», says jury member and Editor-in-Chief of PWM Yuri Bender.
For the second consecutive year, LGT was recognized as the Best Private Bank in Europe for Philanthropy Services due to its «expertise and innovative solutions». It was also successful in the Private Banker International Global Wealth Awards 2023, receiving an award for its Outstanding Philanthropy Offering.
