LLB draws up plans for new office space
LLB is firming up plans for a new office building in the center of Vaduz. In so doing, it is responding to an increased need for space that the bank’s near constant growth has brought about, further details of which can be found in a press release. For this reason, it is planning to demolish Haus Giessen from January 2023, where the Office of Justice is currently still located. In its place, the new Giessen campus is to be built. According to the information in the press release, LLB already owns the plot
The new building will bring together various departments of the bank and provide space for around 260 employees. It comprises five floors, across which the aim is to create “an interaction between spatial transparency and plasticity”. According to LLB, LEED sustainability certification in Gold and the P ECO Minergie standard are being sought for the building, which is scheduled to be completed by late summer 2025.
The Office of Justice is set to move into the new service center of the government of Liechtenstein in spring 2024. During the transitional period, the land registry and the judiciary department will be housed at LLB’s southern headquarters at Städtle 44, with the other departments in Haus Wille at Kirchstrasse 8. The government of Liechtenstein is already using this building.
