LLB Switzerland to open Zurich branch on July 1
LLB Switzerland is set to open a new branch located at Claridenstrasse 20 in Zurich on July 1. On this date, the Private Banking team and Corporate Clients team will start work at the new location, according to a press release. Up to 2023, LLB Switzerland traded under the name Bank Linth, and now forms part of Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB). Its headquarters are located in Uznach in the canton of St.Gallen.
The Private Banking team in Zurich will be composed of four customer advisors and headed up by Lukas Renggli. All of the prospective team are currently employed by UBS. Between April and June, three advisors will start in the Corporate Clients team under the interim leadership of Sascha Stocker, who has been working as Regional Manager for Corporate Clients at LLB Switzerland since 2020.
«I am really looking forward to establishing the two core segments of Private Banking and Corporate Clients in Zurich», says René Zwicky, CEO of LLB Switzerland. As LLB Switzerland explains further, plans are also in place to open a new branch in St.Gallen over the summer. In total, the bank will be looking to hire an additional 40 employees, «and in so doing significantly expand its market position in Switzerland».
