VP Bank sponsoring the gourmet competition Marmite Youngster
The Zurich-based publisher Marmite has secured VP Bank as a Presenting Partner. As such, the credit institute will be playing a key role in staging the competition for young talents in the restaurant sector over the coming years, further details can be found in a press release. The Marmite Youngster competition aims to shine a light on and promote ambitious young restaurant professionals including chefs, pastry chefs, service personnel and sommeliers.
The publishing firm has been issuing the food and drink culture magazine “Marmite” for 60 years, and has been running the Marmite Youngster competition since 2011. Every year, young talents compete in the categories of chefs, service, pastry chefs and sommeliers. Last year, a total of 500 interested people registered to take part.
“Together we now want to identify the high-potential pioneers who will shape the future of fine dining. I am very excited to see the creativity and spirit of our marmite young talents 2023”, comments Thomas Abegg, publisher of “Marmite” magazine, in the press release.
