Terms & Conditions
The Liechtenstein Bankers Association (LBA), as representative and voice of the Liechtenstein banks, organizes a range of events to support its advocacy agenda.
When you register you are invited to accept the terms and conditions as formulated below.
Data protection & Disclaimer
By registering for LBA events, you agree that your personal data will be processed by the LBA for registration and handling purposes, as well as for sending you information in connection with the LBA and its work. Any personal data will be solely used in accordance with current EU and Liechtenstein data protection legislation. This data will not be disclosed to a third party without the registrant’s explicit written consent. Please refer to the LBA Data Protection Policy and Privacy Notice.
Please be aware that, if you do not submit the data indicated as “required”, we cannot complete your registration.
The LBA may not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any property, whatever the cause may be in relation to its events. Liability of persons and enterprises providing means of transportation or other services, however, remains unaffected.
The LBA reserves the right to amend, postpone or withdraw the event for any reason should any circumstances arise that are outside LBA’s control, such as force majeure including, but not limited to, fire, flood, strikes, labour disputes, war, blockades, riots, acts and/or threats of terrorism and the unavailability of means of transport. The LBA will endeavour to amend or postpone the event but shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages or expenses incurred by registrants.
Any travel/accommodation costs incurred are entirely the registrants’ responsibility. The LBA does not accept any liability for reimbursement of travel costs unless otherwise stated.
All issues, questions and disputes concerning the validity, interpretation, enforcement, performance or termination stemming from LBA events shall be exclusively governed and construed in accordance with Liechtenstein law.
Photographs and videos
The LBA, event co-organizers and event speakers have the right to photograph and film attendees at conferences organized or co-organizes by the LBA and its partners. These images and recordings may be used in perpetuity, without any form of compensation, for promotional activities related to the LBA, event co-organizers and event speakers through a variety of channels, including but not limited to websites, mobile applications, social media platforms, daily event publications, conference agendas, newsletters and other forms of publication. By registering for the event, attendees expressly consent to the use of their images for these purposes. Moreover, any use of photographic content will strictly adhere to the current EU and Liechtenstein data protection legislation.
List of participants
The LBA may share the list of attendees with the event co-organizer for the purpose of event organization. By registering for the event, participants expressly consent to the LBA sharing the list of participants with the co-organizers of the event for the aforementioned purpose.
No show / Cancellation policy
When registering for LBA events for which no fee is charged to participants, please consider your organisation’s code of ethics and notify us formally and in due time in case of unexpected change of your priorities or plans, per email to the LBA events team at . Please be aware that the sunk cost is approximately CHF 50 for each no-show or late-cancellation.
