LGT obtains international certification for workplace culture
LGT Bank has once again obtained the Great Place to Work seal of quality from the international consulting and research institute of the same name. The bank, which is owned by the Princely Family, achieved above-average scores for workplace culture in all its global locations, according to a press release. The certification is based on an anonymous, company-wide survey and a Culture Audit. 90 per cent of employees said that LGT is a «Great Place to Work», and 94 per cent are proud to work at LGT.
According to Olivier de Perregaux, CEO of LGT Private Banking, this external assessment is an important yardstick. «In addition to showing us what we’re doing right, it helps us identify areas we need to work on.» The survey showed that as well as achieving strong growth, LGT has been able to develop and cultivate its shared culture.
78 per cent of employees worldwide took part in the survey, which was divided into five categories: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. Respondents were particularly positive about the bank's welcoming culture and collegial environment, as well as the opportunity to take on responsibility. The management team obtained very good scores for their honest, competent and ethical conduct. Employees feel they are «treated fairly, regardless of their background or sexual orientation. Irrespective of their seniority, 92 per cent of employees feel they are a valued member of the company,» according to the press release. LGT last obtained the seal of quality in 2020, proving itself to be a good employer. ce/heg
