LLB sustainable investing app now also available in Germany
The wiLLBe app from Liechtensteinische Landesbank is now also available in Germany. With the app, LLB offers users a low-threshold opportunity to invest in line with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from an amount of just 2,000 euros at a fee of 0.49 percent per annum. According to a press release, a team of more than 30 people is working to identify suitable companies to bring on board.
Investors can also use the app to find out how their portfolio is faring in terms of rising global temperatures, carbon emissions and energy consumption. According to LLB, smart technologies are used to create a highly individualized portfolio of shares or portions of shares, bonds and ETFs for investors, tailored precisely to their investment strategy and selected topics. In addition, “for the first time on the German market” users can now also donate part of the income they generate to non-profit organizations.
The whole thing is “purely digital and cost-efficient”, comments Group CEO Gabriel Brenna, “but with an active selection of individual titles in a portfolio”. He adds that customers have the ability to “individually align this with the UN SDGs and according to their preferences”. This represents a “simple and inexpensive way to enter the world of impactful securities savings without the need for specialist knowledge and in just a few clicks”, the press release concludes.
