LGT wins a German Brand Award
According to a press release, the LGT website has won a German Brand Award in the category of «Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation: Brand Communication – Web and Mobile». The revamped web presence was realized in conjunction with the Berlin-based communications agency init and went live at the start of 2023. Since then, the website has featured a new concept and structure, as well as updated content paired with a different look and feel. According to the information, the guidelines for the redesigned concept were to address the bank’s target group in a user-appropriate manner, to provide intuitive user guidance, and to vividly convey the company’s values and service promises.
LGT quotes from the statement provided by the expert jury appointed by the German Design Council, which organized the event: «With the relaunch of its corporate website, LGT has created a successful example of how to address high net worth private clients and families in a digital manner. By optimally combining tradition and modernity, coupled with a highly user-centric experience, LGT’s website sets new standards in digital financial communications.»
The target group was impressed by the revamped website, according to Christine Reichardt, Head Digital Marketing at LGT. «This can be seen, for example, in increased website traffic and significant growth in interaction rates. We are obviously delighted that the website has now been positively assessed also by an external, independent jury.» ce/mm
