LGT awarded for philanthropy
“Professional Wealth Management” (PWM), an investment magazine owned by the Financial Times, and “The Banker” have presented their Global Private Banking Awards for the world’s best private banks. LGT Private Banking from Vaduz claimed the award for Best Private Bank in Europe for Philanthropy Services. This was the 14th edition of the Global Private Banking Awards, which honor the very best institutes from a total of 120 participating private banks worldwide, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by the LGT Group. LGT emerged victorious against well-known competitors thanks to its excellent network and comprehensive support as well as its proven experience in philanthropy consulting, the press release explains further.
The Jury was impressed by several elements of the LGT submission, comments Yuri Bender, Editor-in-Chief of PWM. These include the company’s attitude towards sustainability, focus on alternative investments and robust growth over the past decade, which demonstrates a successful business model. All of this goes hand-in-hand with “an interest in and dedication to what many see as the softer side of private banking – namely philanthropy services – which are increasingly a crucial component for high net worth clients”, Bender explains further.
Previously, LGT already won two awards for its expertise in the area of sustainable investments. The New York-based financial magazine Global Finance awarded it the title of Best Private Bank for Sustainable Investing in Western Europe as well as the country award for the Best Private Bank in Liechtenstein. LGT also claimed the award for Outstanding Leadership in Sustainability Transparency in Western Europe.
