Hans-Werner Gassner confirmed as LBA Chairman
At yesterday's Ordinary General Meeting of the Liechtenstein Bankers Association (LBA), Dr. Hans-Werner Gassner was confirmed as chairman for another two-year term. In March 2017, Gassner took over the chairmanship from Adolf E. Real and has since served as the head of the largest Liechtenstein financial centre association. 'Today's re-election means a lot to me, because this year not only is Liechtenstein celebrating its 300th anniversary, but also the LBA itself is turning 50,' Gassner said yesterday after his election. 'We are on course with the implementation of our Roadmap 2020. We would like to use 2019 as an opportunity to build on this success and to continue our strategy into the future,' Gassner said.
