Joint use of Villa Wirbelwind day care centre by LLV and LBA
Starting 1 September, the day care centre of the Liechtenstein Bankers Association (LBA) will also open its doors to the children of employees of the Liechtenstein National Administration (LLV).
The Liechtenstein Bankers Association and the Liechtenstein National Administration have decided to merge their day care centers. After the summer holidays, employees of the National Administration and the Liechtenstein banks will be able to take advantage of a joint day care service. The children will be taken care of on the premises of the LBA's current day care centre, the Villa Wirbelwind on the Äulestrasse in Vaduz.
The merger of the LLV and LBA day care centres brings great advantages for both sides: The premises of the Villa Wirbelwind will be utilised even better. ‘With the Villa Wirbelwind, we can provide our employees with a modern and centrally located day care center’, says Prime Minister Adrian Hasler, pleased with the LBA cooperation. ‘This cooperative arrangement is an optimal solution for everyone involved. We are looking forward to seeing even more life at the Villa Wirbelwind in the future’, says LBA Director Simon Tribelhorn. The existing day care centre on the Dammweg in Vaduz will be closed; all childcarers will continue to work within the day care association.
The Villa Wirbelwind is centrally located in Vaduz in a building that was completely renovated by the municipality of Vaduz and the LBA at the end of 2017. On four floors and approx. 550 m2, it offers sufficient space for a modern and flexible day care facility. ‘As landlords, we are very pleased to see that the property on the Äulestrasse is gaining even more popularity as a result of the cooperation, which demonstrates the attractiveness of the location. At the same time, this shows once again that the investments in the renovation of the building were exactly the right decision’, emphasises Vaduz Mayor Ewald Ospelt.
Parents can choose from different day care offerings at the Villa Wirbelwind. In this way, both employers are accommodating their employees’ individual workplace situations. As Prime Minister Hasler and LBA Director Tribelhorn emphasise, ‘The compatibility of family and career is very important to us. High-quality childcare plays a key role in this regard – and this is promoted in the best possible way by the joint service offered by the National Administration and the Bankers Association.’
